What we collect when you visit.
A short, honest description of the data collected on this site. We collect very little. Analytics is anonymous, and the only thing that identifies you is your email address, and only if you choose to give it to us.
Analytics
We use Vercel Analytics to understand how visitors use this site. Vercel Analytics is designed to be privacy-friendly and works in a deliberately limited way:
- No cookies. Vercel Analytics does not place any cookies in your browser, nor does it use local storage or similar tracking technologies.
- No personal data. We do not see your IP address, your name, your email, or any other information that could identify you.
- Anonymous counts. Visitors are counted using a one-way hash that resets every 24 hours. The hash cannot be used to recognise you across days or across different sites.
- No cross-site tracking. The same hash algorithm is used across Vercel customers, but the input that feeds it is unique to each request, so we cannot and do not track you anywhere else on the internet.
The information we see is limited to things like which pages were visited, in what order, from which country, on which device and browser. That is all. We use it to understand which content is useful and to improve the site. We do not sell it, share it, or use it to profile anyone.
What we do not collect
- No names, no account creation, no login, no authentication.
- No third-party advertising trackers, Facebook Pixel, Google Ads tags, or similar.
- No fingerprinting beyond what the browser itself exposes in the request headers.
Cookies and consent
Because Vercel Analytics does not use cookies and does not store any persistent identifier in your browser, no cookie banner is required for the analytics on this site. We have not added one because the regulatory and practical premise for such a banner (cookies and personal data being processed) does not apply to the tooling we use.
Where the data goes
Analytics data is processed and stored by Vercel on our behalf. Vercel acts as a data processor. Their privacy practices and the data they handle on our behalf are described in the Vercel Privacy Policy.
Your choices
You can block Vercel Analytics entirely by using a browser extension such as a content blocker, or by enabling your browser's "Do Not Track" / "Global Privacy Control" setting. Vercel respects these signals where required by law. You can also clear your browser's data at any time, although we do not store any client-side state on this site to clear.
Changes to this page
If the way we collect data changes, we will update this page and revise the date below. Substantive changes (anything that would affect what we collect or how we use it) will be highlighted at the top of this page for a reasonable period.
