A division of Sential, building things meant to be understood.
Sential Innovations is the technology division of Sential, an independent community, not a registered company. We build models, software, and hardware, and we do it in a way we hope you can trust at a glance.
What we are trying to do
Technology companies often ask you to take them on faith. Bold claims, vague product pages, and logos that imply customers who were never really there. We do not want to be that kind of company.
Our work is in early stages, and we will say so. Hikaru-1 is in development; Arcus, Deriva, and Nero are concepts; Kova is coming soon; Verplex is on the drawing board. We would rather show you the real state of things than dress it up.
The thread running through all of it is a single idea: that technology is better, more useful, and more trustworthy, when it is understood. Our models are trained to learn from explanations. Our products are built so you can see what they do. Our writing is plain. None of that is revolutionary. We just think it is right.
Structure
How we are organised
Sential Innovations sits within Sential, our umbrella community, alongside other planned divisions. A sister project, Palladium, focuses on security. None of these are registered companies; it is one community working under a shared name.

Palladium
A sister project focused on cybersecurity, looking after the systems and data of the wider community, including ours. Like the rest of Sential, it is a community effort rather than a company.
A note on what we are
Sential, Sential Innovations, and Palladium are names for one volunteer community, not registered companies. We have no corporate or legal standing yet, which is exactly why we keep our scope small: we do not sell anything, we do not offer paid services or public APIs, and we make no warranties. Everything here is released for free, as-is, by people building in the open. If that ever changes, we will say so clearly on this page first.
