Where Arcus narrows in on software, Deriva is built to be broad. It is the series we expect most people to use most of the time, the dependable everyday model in the lineup. Writing, analysis, vision, questions that do not fit neatly into any one specialty.
That breadth comes with a deliberate limit. Deriva is meant to be competent at code, not exceptional. When a task calls for genuine depth in software, Arcus is the better tool. Deriva is the model you reach for first; it is rarely the only model you need.

First model in the series
A general-purpose model with vision. Intended as the everyday model in the lineup: capable across tasks, competent at code, specialized in nothing.
Deriva-1 is in the planning stage. The role it is meant to fill is clear; the model itself has not been built. As with the other concept series, we are sharing the direction now rather than waiting until something exists to point at.
